Description
The paper for the first time discusses the specificity of knowledge formation among the students under the conditions of different forms of in-class and individual learning, which to a greater extent characterizes the degree of performance and motivation for learning as well as the level of cooperation between the parties to the educational process.
The evaluation of knowledge level among students of different forms of learning and under the conditions of different types of in-class and individual activity has shown that for different specialties there are different markers of knowledge assimilation due to the uneven division of learning hours between individual and in-class activities. For the Travel Business students, who have more hours for in-class activities for full-time students, the increase in the number of students with a high level of knowledge in comparison with IER full-time students is characteristic. For part-time students, on the contrary, there are more high-achievers among the IER students. This, in our opinion, is directly connected with the conscious getting of the second degree by the abovementioned category.
The experience of using the Workbooks for Individual Learning of «Health and Safety» by the department of valeology gave the opportunity to evaluate the advantages of its usage by teachers and students.
