A Tool for Enhancing the Understanding of Information Retrieval System Components for Educational Purposes

We present a web-based tool to support the understanding of the information
retrieval process first hand and to gain practical knowledge for students. Our
focus is the arrangement and configuration of IR components like stemmers,
indexing algorithms or feedback cycles and their evaluation.
