Description
The adsorptive nature of Wrightia tinctoria leaves extract on mild steel in 1.0 N Hydrochloric acid environment contains various concentrations of inhibitor with different exposure time and temperature has been investigated by using mass loss measurements. The observed result reveals that the percentage of inhibition efficiency increased with increase of inhibitor concentration and temperature. It is exothermic, spontaneous and chemisorptions process. The inhibitor follows Langmuir adsorption isotherm. The corrosion product formed on the metal surface confirmed by the adsorption studies such as Temkin, frumkin flurry huggins Elawady and Frendlich adsorption isotherm.
