CESSDA Annual Report 2024

The CESSDA Annual Report 2024 highlights the consortium's key achievements and activities. In 2024, CESSDA hosted its first conference to celebrate its 10th anniversary and saw Lithuania progress toward full membership. The report presents the successful result of the European Strategy Forum on Research Infrastructure (ESFRI) Landmark Monitoring process, which acknowledges CESSDA's role in global metadata standards and data sharing. Significant enhancements were made to tools (e.g., the CESSDA Data Catalogue and the European Language Social Science Thesaurus) and training materials (e.g., the Data Archiving Guide and Data Management Expert Guide). A Task Force on Artificial Intelligence was established. Through 15 European Union-funded projects, CESSDA actively contributed to the development of the European Open Science Cloud and overcoming challenges in social science research. Moreover, this report features its communication efforts, member list, and financial statements for 2024.
