«ІСТОРІЇ БЕЗ ПРОДОВЖЕНЬ» (РОЗМІРКОВУВАННЯ, НАВІЯНІ МОНОГРАФІЄЮ НАТАЛІЇ ДОЦЕНКО «ПРИНЦИПИ ІНТЕРМЕДІАЛЬНОСТІ У ПРОЗІ ПАТРИКА МОДІАНО»)

The article is devoted to creativity of the Nobel prize winner, French writer
Patrick Modiano, as well as the analysis of the coverage of his work in the monograph
of young researcher Natalia Dotsenko, which is now the newest study in
Ukraine. The article defi nes the main features that comprise the specifi city of the
novels of the author, and the reasons why his work was perhaps the most profound
in modern literature refl ection of the mental state of mankind. An attempt is made
to explain the determining base of the work by Patrick Modiano – confession,
escapizm, collagenase, mosaicity, intermedairie, weaving the various temporary
benefi ts, autobography, the cinematography which are particularly pertinent for
the Western world at the beginning of the XXI century. There is a novelty of the
monograph and describes its strong and weak positions. The feature of the study
as the relevance and value not only for national science of literature, but in the
context of world science about Patrick Modiano, is stated. Finally, recommendation
is given, in which direction the researcher may continue research activities.
