Uropathogenic Escherichia coli genotype, phenotype, and patient characteristics, 2019 and 2022

Description

This is a database of a collection of uropathogenic Escherichia coli isolates collected from a healthcare institution in San Francisco, California, US, over a 6-month period in 2019 and 2022. Samples were genotyped with the Doumith method. Antimicrobial resistant phenotype is included (names of antibiotics). Patient demographic characteristics are included. Isolates are denoted to be healthcare-associated if they were collected after 48 hours during a hospitalization or in patients who were hospitalized within 3 months of presentation for urine culture.
