We leveraged data from several open-access global and continental-scale datasets of soil fractionation measurements, as detailed in the manuscript and supporting information. For this review article, we specifically focused on measurements of bulk and mineral-associated soil organic carbon (reported in units of gC/kg soil) and soil clay and silt content (reported as a %). This repository includes a data file and corresponding metadata file.
