Measurement database and line parameter database for pure CH4 in the 5970-6250 cm-1 region

Description

New self-broadened CH4 Fourier-transform measurements and the analysis of R-branch manifolds are published in [Multi-laboratory measurements of 12CH4 2ν3 band line parameters. Part I: Line intensities with relative combined standard uncertainties at the permille level, Zachary D. Reed et al., in preparation]. Zenodo serves as a repository for the measurement database and the line parameter database, including all measured lines in the region 5970-6250 cm-1.

The measurement database is in “pure_CH4_measurement_database.zip”, the line parameter database in “CH4_sigma_S_Elow_5970-6575cm-1_DLR_V5.zip”. The readme file is “Measurement database and line parameter database for pure CH4 in the 5970-6250 cm-1 region - Readme.docx”.

Definitions and units of line parameters are in accordance with the HITRAN database and can be found in the readme file in ESA SEOM-IAS – Spectroscopic parameters database 2.3 µm region (zenodo.org).

The systematic uncertainty of line positions is 1.2x10-6 cm-1.
