Magnetotelluric Profile Data and MARE2DEM Inversion Model across the Northwestern Qaidam Basin

Description
This package contains Magnetotelluric (MT) data collected along a profile across the northwestern Qaidam Basin on the northern margin of the Tibetan Plateau under the auspices of the National Natural Science Foundation of China (NSFC, No. 41404060). MT data are released in both EDI and MTH5 formats. The dataset comprises 19 broadband MT (with the suffix "BB") and 5 long-period MT stations (with the suffix "m"). MT sites distribution is shown in the attached map figures in PNG and PDF formats. The two-dimensional (2D) electrical resistivity model derived with a two-step inversion process using the MARE2DEM code is also included. More details of the dataset and the inversion model are presented in the publication of Zhou et al., (2023) (https://doi.org/10.1016/j.tecto.2023.229719).
