Data of a Full-Scale Experimental Study on the Onset of Internal Natural Convection inside a Horizontal Insulation Layer

This open-access dataset is supplementary material to the scientific journal article entitled “Full-scale experimental study on the critical Rayleigh number for the onset of internal natural convection inside a horizontal insulation layer of blown glass wool”. A detailed description of the entire experimental investigation and the results of the study can be found in this peer-reviewed article and in the current dataset description.

This dataset comprises the raw data of all experimental tests carried out for this study, the mapping of all sensors, the detailed description of the experimental setup, and the summary results after data treatment of the raw experimental data.
