Thoracic radiofrequency spectroscopy for noninvasive detection of GERD and patient data
Authors/Creators
Description
This data sheet presents the spectral data of 49 patients obtained using a chest-mounted probe capable of performing radiofrequency spectroscopy within the 40 Hz to 1 MHz range, with tomographic capability to reach the esophagus. The spectra include measurements from patients with an empty esophagus, as well as those taken while ingesting water, orange juice, and 1% (w/w) brine. Additionally, comprehensive patient data are provided, including body mass, height, protein content, fat percentage, visceral fat levels, age, presence of digestive issues, smoking status, and GERD diagnosis. This dataset enables a thorough analysis of esophageal dielectric properties and their correlation with physiological and lifestyle factors.
