Monetary values of Nature Contributions for People (NCP) derived for Switzerland within ValPar.CH project

Description

The data composed in this file contain the results of an economic valuation of 15 NCPs conducted within ValPar.CH, a research project on benefits and added value of ecological infrastructure in Switzerland funded as part of a pilot project of the "Action Plan for the Swiss Biodiversity Strategy (AP SBS)" by the Federal Office for the Environment (FOEN).

NCPs’ economic benefits were measured employing the exchange value approach adopted for the valuation of ecosystem services in the United Nations System of Environmental Economic Accounting (SEEA). Details on the methods and data applied can be found in the technical report attached.
