Cell membrane damage assessment of 42 metal oxide nanoparticles

Cell membrane damage assessment data obtained from in vitro test systems of two different metal oxide nanoparticles (24 titanium dioxides and 18 zinc oxides). The experimental data consist of different combinations of physicochemical properties and the corresponding biological endpoint values (damage to cellular membranes as measured by LDH release).
