Global mycorrhizal status drives leaf δ15N patterns

Description

This file contains the collected data from Craine et al. (2018) and other published data. The dataset included publication references, longitude, latitude, mean annual temperature, mean annual precipitation, plant species/family, foliar δ15N, foliar nitrogen concentration, and classification of fixer or mycorrhizal status. This file is used for the meta-analyses.

  1. ObservationID: The unique sample ID assigned to each observation
  2. Longitude: The longitude coordinates at which each individual was sampled
  3. Latitude: The latitude coordinates at which each individual was sampled
  4. Continent: The continent of each individual
  5. MAT: The mean annual temperature at which each individual was sampled (℃)
  6. MAP: The mean annual precipitation at which each individual was sampled (mm)
  7. Species: The species of the plants that were sampled
  8. Family: The family of the plants that were sampled
  9. Fixer: The sampled plants are nitrogen-fixing or non-fixing plants
  10. MycorrhizalType: The type of mycorrhiza associated with the sampled plants
  11. LeafN: The leaf nitrogen concentration (g kg-1)
  12. Leaf15N: The leaf δ15N value (‰)
