Datasets and codes for "A westward shift of heatwave hotspots caused by warming-enhanced land-air coupling"

This repository includes the datasets and codes used to produce the results in Zhang et al. (2025) "A westward shift of heatwave hotspots caused by warming-enhanced land-air coupling". SubmitDataFile.zip contains the data used in the paper. The Ctl folder and CtlpdLC folder contain the raw data output from the Ctl and CtlpdLC experiments of the CESM2 model, respectively. The other data files are the data used in producing the Figures 3 and 4. SubmitCodeFile.zip contains the codes used in the paper. Briefly, the sh files were used to set up the CESM2 model and the python files were used to analyze the results and produce the figures.
