Dataset for Climate warming and heatwaves accelerate global lake deoxygenation

The dataset includes historical DO estimations, future DO projections and associated calculation code.

Each Excel or CSV file contains lake attribute information and annual DO results.

Lake attribute information includes Hylak_id, Lake_name, Continent, Lake_type, Lake_area, Shore_len, Shore_dev, Vol_total, Depth_avg, Res_time, Elevation, Longitude, Latitude, and more. The lake attribute information was sourced from HydroLAKES (https://www.hydrosheds.org/).

The historical estimations and future projections of DO were conducted using Google Earth Engine (GEE), with the code written in JavaScript. Both the dataset and the code are also available at: https://github.com/YiboNiglas/Machine_learning_DO.git.
