Dataset for the paper "Stakeholder-centric model for efficient district heating: Networks interconnection and industrial waste heat in north-eastern Italy"

Description

Data are related to the results of the research published in the paper https://doi.org/10.1016/j.seta.2025.104431, which considers the interconnection intervention of two adjacent district heating networks exploting waste heat from an industrial facility. The data are organized as follows:

  •  File HE_impact.xlsx reports the effect of size of the heat exchanger to be installed (optimization variable) on the objective functions.
  • File Optimization_results.xlsx: reports the results of the optimization and the Pareto fronts of the solutions.
  • File Hourly_profiles.xlsx: contains the hourly profile of the integrated, recovered, stored, and dissipated share of energy along the simulation period. The dataset covers the entire calendar year, starting from 00:00 on January 1st and proceeding with hourly intervals until 23:00 on December 31st.
