Description
This dataset consists of genotyping files in the format of PED and MAP file, one of the most common formats that can be easily managed by tools like PLINK, GCTA and several packages for data analysis.
Methods
The genotyping has been carried with Affymetrix Axiom OrcunSNP Array (⁓100K).
PED files are structured as a m×n matrix where m corresponds to the number of analysed animals and n includes 6 columns with information about the animal and the number of analysed SNPs multiplied by 2. The file is a plain text.
MAP files, both for 70K and 60K are structured as a m×4 matrix where m is the number of analysed SNP and the 4 columns represent, respectively, the Chromosome (or Scaffold), the SNP identifier, information related to centimorgan if available, bp position. The assembly used for the mapping is OryCun2.0 (GCA_000003625.1) . The file is a plain text.
