W poszukiwaniu prawdy i innych wartości naukowych w dorobku metodologicznym Profesora Jana Sucha

Professor Jan Such has been one of the main pillars of philosophy in Poland. He approached numerous basic problems in philosophy and science methodology from a new perspective. In his works he refers to contemporary achievements of world science, he co-creates and develops the Poznań School of Methodology. He defends the thesis of unity of the context of discovery and the context of justification. In his academic deliberations he follows the ideal of truth, he strives to demonstrate the truthfulness of knowledge. While explaining the non-cognitive practice he prefers the comprehensive knowledge. He claims that all comprehension needs not only to be open to the truth and searching for the truth, but it should also assume its existence. The paper discusses also the category-wise approach to dialectics and dialectical visions of the world included in the books of Jan Such and it presents their current meaning.
