MORFEEdb, a comprehensive catalog of SNVs affecting upstream ORFs in human 5'UTRs

MORFEEdb is a  database containing all possible single nucleotide variants (SNVs) creating or altering upORFs
(upORF-SNVs). 

MORFEEdb was obtained by first performing  a mutational saturation of the 5’UTR of 55 304 transcripts from ~17 000 coding genes where each position in the 5’UTR was in silico mutated with
the 3 alternative nucleotides. The resulting generated VCF files for all transcripts were then annotated with the
MORFEE program as described in doi: https://doi.org/10.1101/2024.10.07.616631

The vcf  files resulting from the whole genome 5'UTR mutational saturation are included in the results_per_transcripts.zip archive
