# CO02, Green Lakes Valley, Dust Nutrients, 2019-2021

## Description,

This repository contains nutrient data from dust samples collected in the Green Lakes Valley, Colorado, at the National Atmospheric Deposition Program site CO02 (location: 40.0547, -105.5891, elevation: 3520 m). Samples were collected between 2019-2021 and analyzed biannually for inorganic (mineral) and organic nitrogen and phosphorus content. The biannual periods roughly spanned the Winter/Spring and Summer/Fall seasons, from June to December and December to June, respectively (collection in 2019 began in July). The sample mass required for laboratory analysis of nutrients was not met in Summer/Fall 2021. Samples over that period were combined with samples from Summer/Fall 2020 to meet the mass requirement, and therefore represent a combined Summer/Fall value. The inorganic or mineral P reported is a measure of bioavailable P readily accessible for plant uptake (e.g., orthophosphate), and excludes P bound in mineral forms like apatite and calcite.
