Description
This dataset contains collected data by physics-based phenomenological laser powder bed fusion (LPBF) simulations. The melt pool width during laser scan in single-track exposure (STE) was collected under various combinations of physical parameters. The physical-based phenomenological LPBF model is derived from Validated dimensionless scaling law for melt pool width in laser powder bed fusion [[J. Mater. Proc. Tech. (2022)]]. This dataset supports the article ML-extendable framework for multiphysics-multiscale simulation workflow and data management using Kadi4Mat3 [Sci. Data (2025)] and Physics-based data-driven analyses on melt pool control in laser powder bed fusion [under preparation].
