Description
Este estudio realiza un análisis bibliométrico sobre metadatos en el contexto museológico, en la literatura científica internacional entre 2014 y 2024, con el objetivo de identificar los temas predominantes y principales contribuciones en este campo. Se empleó una metodología que combina enfoques cuantitativos y cualitativos, utilizando datos de ocho fuentes de investigación (SciELO, Scopus, Web of Science, ProQuest (Library & Information Science Abstracts e Arts & Humanities Database), Brapci, EBSCO, LA Referencia e Dialnet) y herramientas como Zotero y VOSviewer. Se recuperaron 1.050 documentos, de los cuales 62 conformaron la muestra final. Fue revelada la existencia de ocho autores clave en el área, destacando la importancia de la integración del conocimiento cultural. Se concluye que es crucial superar las barreras que limitan la exploración de contenidos científicos y promover una mayor interoperabilidad entre los sistemas de gestión en museos, lo que permitirá optimizar el acceso a los datos e informaciones disponibles.
Abstract (English)
This study conducts a bibliometric analysis of metadata in the museum context within the international scientific literature from 2014 to 2024, aiming to identify the predominant themes and key contributions in this field. A methodology combining quantitative and qualitative approaches was employed, using data from eight research sources (SciELO, Scopus, Web of Science, ProQuest (Library & Information Science Abstracts and Arts & Humanities Database), Brapci, EBSCO, LA Referencia, and Dialnet) and tools such as Zotero and VOSviewer. A total of 1.050 documents were retrieved, of which 62 constituted the final sample. The existence of eight key authors in the area was revealed, highlighting the importance of integrating cultural knowledge. The study concludes that it is crucial to overcome the barriers that limit the exploration of scientific content and to promote greater interoperability among management systems in museums, which will facilitate optimized access to available data and information.
