RNA and protein expression of C/EBP homologous protein (CHOP) and 78-kDa glucose-regulated protein (GRP78)

The mean cycle threshold (Ct) value for each sample was normalized to the mean Ct value of GAPDH in the same sample. 

The participants in the current study were recruited in two groups; 44 recently diagnosed MS patients and 53 control subjects. Differential gene expressions of C/EBP homologous protein (CHOP), and 78-kDa glucose-regulated protein (GRP78)  were assessed by real-time PCR. To confirm gene expressions at the protein level, Western blots were performed on three samples of each group; MS patients and controls.
