Medest Region and France 235-Catchments Data

This data package includes preprocessed datasets sourced from SCHAPI-DGPR and Météo-France. The data is stored in HDF5 file format and is designed for use in hydrological and meteorological studies, particularly in the context of multisite regionalization and local calibration methods. The package contains two datasets:

1. Medest Region Dataset

• Purpose: Designed for multisite regionalization methods.
• File: medest-21c.hdf5
• Description: This dataset covers 21 catchments, including both nested and independent ones, located in the Medest region. It includes atmospheric/forcings data, hydrological observations, and physical descriptors, etc.
• Temporal Coverage: The data spans a 7-year period, from August 1, 2009, to July 31, 2016.
• Catchment Information: catchment-info-medest-21c.csv contains details about the 21 catchments (x, y coordinates, station code, and surface area).

2. France 235-Catchments Dataset

• Purpose: Designed for local calibration methods.
• File: france-235c.zip (contains multiple HDF5 files)
• Description: This dataset comprises an extraction of data from several downstream catchments within the 235 ones across France. It includes atmospheric/forcings data, hydrological observations, and physical descriptors, etc.
• Temporal Coverage: The data spans a 13-year period, from August 1, 2006, to July 31, 2019.
• Catchment Information: catchment-info-france-235c.csv contains details about the 235 catchments (x, y coordinates, station code, and surface area).
