Matlab Code for "Predicting Exposure to Ionizing Radiation by Biochemically-Inspired Genomic Machine Learning"

Description

This file contains the Matlab code associated with the publication "Predicting Exposure to Ionizing Radiation by Biochemically-Inspired Genomic Machine Learning". The Matlab files are divided among four folders: "Preprocessing", "Feature Selection", "Validating Models", and "Validating Signatures". Each of these folders correspond to subsections of the Methods section of our publication. The "Preprocessing" folder is further divided into the subfolders "Cleaning and Imputation" and "Quantile Normalization" which are the two main steps in preprocessing. The"Feature Selection" folder is also further divided into the subfolders "Backward", "Complete", and "Forward" which indicate different types of feature selection algorithms.
