Description

This dataset comprises an inventory of 839 circular structures detected in Algeria using GIS assessment. The dataset includes all the related attributes of each structure (name, lithology, age, used geological map, altitude, diameter, area, wilaya, longitude, latitude, and potential origin), the given origins are based on several criteria mainly geological maps, geometry, and surrounding area. Three maps were also generated for each structure using Bing/Esri imagery, FABDEMs, and geological maps.
