Sub-lethal effects of innovative anti-corrosion nanoadditives on the marine bivalve Ruditapes philippinarum
Description
The present dataset contains chemical, physicochemical, and ecotoxicological data upon exposure of the marine bivalve Ruditapes philippinarum to novel anti-corrosion nanomaterials (Zn-Al LDH-BTA and Zn-Al LDH-GCN) and their soluble counterparts (BTA-benzotriazole and GCN-gluconate). Chemical analyses data include the quantification of relevant anions (GCN or BTA, and chlorides, nitrates, nitrites determined through High-Performance Liquid Chromatography) and target metals (Zn and Al determined through Inductively Coupled Plasma Optical Emission Spectrometry). Ecotoxicological data includes physiological (condition index), biochemical (biomarkers), and genotoxic (comet assay) endpoints.
