Trade data to-be-used with regioinvent.

The dataset contains import and export data of traded goods corresponding to ecoinvent products from the BACI database v202601 for the years 2020 to 2024 (https://www.cepii.fr/CEPII/en/bdd_modele/bdd_modele_item.asp?id=37). It also contains production data estimated from FAOSTAT, USGS, World Steel Association, OICA, PRODCOM and EXIOBASEv3.9.5.

The only purpose of this dataset is to be used as an input to the Regioinvent Python package which can be found here: https://github.com/CIRAIG/Regioinvent.

The trade_data.db is the database to-be-used directly with Regioinvent.

All other files are provided for transparency purposes. Users can recreate the trade_data.db from these files by following the Jupyter notebooks provided here: https://github.com/CIRAIG/Regioinvent/tree/master/doc/Trade%20data%20treatment. 

v5 changes: FAOSTAT data for transformed foods and forestry products have been added. Only data from USGS has been kept (no more data from BGS). Data from WSA, OICA and PRODCOM were added. All data updated for latest available years.

v4 changes: Complete structure changed to accomodate for implementation of real production volume data, instead of only relying on the estimates from EXIOBASE. Also, now uses net exports to avoid problems wit re-exports. Imports were corrected in consequence to function be consistent with net exports.
