The Status of the Band 2+3 receiver for ALMA

The development of the Band 2+3 (67-116 GHz) prototype for ALMA is
underway facing the Preliminary Design Review. INAF is one of the major
partner since the beginning, thanks to the premiale iALMA and ESO funded
studies. We present the status of the project and we discuss the opportunity to
install the Band 2+3 prototype on the Italian Radiotelescopes.
