Participation and Activity Inventory (Children and Youth) translation, cultural adaptation and validation to Portuguese

The datasets referenced here correspond to the data generated throughout the translation, cultural adaptation, and validation process of 'The Participation and Activity Inventory for Children and Youth' from English to Portuguese.

This questionnaire was developed to assess the difficulties experienced by children with visual challenges regarding participation in activities. It is intended to be completed by parents or caregivers and can be utilized in therapeutic or research contexts.

The data will be presented in three different parts, each corresponding to a specific phase: translation process, pilot study, and validation. The methodological process followed was recommended by the authors of the original questionnaire, and one of the authors that ensure the role of contact person (Dr. Ellen Elsman) has given written authorization to implement the project.
