Observatory Bibliographies: Toward Multi-Usage and Better Metrics

Combining librarian and scientist approaches to the design of bibliographies benefits both and allows the extraction of significantly more informative metrics. By linking articles to the data in the archive that are presented in those articles, one gains access to all the metadata on those datasets from the data archive, allowing extensive mining of information.
