CAUSES AND POSSIBILITIES OF PREVENTING NATURAL DISASTERS IN RUSSIA

The article considers the system of operational actions to prevent natural disasters in Russia. It has been revealed that one of the important directions of reducing the danger and consequences of emergency situations is the preparation of management structures for responding to emergency situations, the prompt conduct of emergency rescue and other urgent measures. Special attention is paid to the anthropogenic impact on the environment within the framework of mining, enrichment and processing of ores, which leads to the release of many chemical elements, disrupting the functioning of natural ecosystems and contributing to the creation of metallogenic biogeochemical provinces. Pollution in such areas can lead to degradation, erosion and changes in the biogeochemical structure of the ecosystem.
