Dîwân-i-Ṣâ’ib (ديوان صائب).

A very large collection of the lyrical poems of Ṣâ’ib, being similar to the خلاصۀ كبير , or ‘large selection,’ as in Sprenger’s copy, loc. cit. (see the preceding copy).

It contains ghazals, intermixed with ḳaṣîdas, in alphabetical order, beginning, on fol. 1^b: اگر نه مدّ بسم الله الخ.

At the end, on ff. 612^b-621^b, a series of so-called rubâ’îs (which have, however, not the usual rubâ’î-metre), beginning:

ياد ايّامى كه رويش را بهار شرم بود

با حيا هنگامۀ نظّارۀ او گرم بود

Dated the last of Dhû-alḳa’dah, A.H. 1148 (A.D. 1736, April 12); according to a note on the last page this collection contains 32,000 baits.
