Scope:

All articles published with an author affiliated to a research organisation in any country (global), as well as all articles published with an author affiliated to a research organisation in the United Kingdom (UK).

Fields:

-         Scope: Regional distinction between article counts for global articles or UK articles.

-         OA Status: Open Access status of article (according to Unpaywall definitions).

-          Year: year the articles were published

-         # of Articles: the total number of articles published with the defined scope, OA status and year of publication.

-         % of Articles: the ‘# of Articles’ divided by the sum of the ‘# of Articles’ for that scope and year. The proportion of articles with a given OA status in that year and region.

-         Change from Previous Year: the difference between the ‘% of Articles’ for a given year and the previous year, for the given scope and OA status. The difference in the proportion of articles with a given OA status (in a particular region) year to year.
