Scope:

Articles published between 2018 and 2022, in titles included in Jisc-negotiated Transitional Agreements (excluding those without ISSNs or eISSNs), which were in existence prior to (and including) 2022, with publishers with active Jisc TAs in 2022 (excluding American Psychological Association).

Fields:

-        DOI: DOI of article published in TA title between 2018 and 2022

-        Year (of Publication): year the article was published in the title    

-        OA Status: Open Access status of article (according to Unpaywall definitions).

-        OA Status with Green overlap: ‘OA Status’ of article, with addition of ‘& Green’ if the (Gold or Hybrid) article was also in a repository (according to Unpaywall).

-        Article published under TA?: Boolean field identifying whether the article was published through the Transitional Agreement (according to publisher reports).

-        Journal Title: Name of the title the article was published in.          

-        eISSN: Electronic ISSN of the title the article was published in.

-        ISSN: ISSN of the title the article was published in

-         Journal in TA in year of publication?: Boolean field identifying whether the title was included in the list of titles for the Transitional Agreement in the year the article was published.        

-         Year Journal Flipped to Fully OA: Estimated year that the title flipped to Fully OA.

-         Likelihood Journal Flipped to Fully OA: Estimated likelihood that the title flipped to Fully OA, based on the reliability of sources available.

-        DOAJ Status: DOAJ status of title in the year the article was published, based on the Directory of Open Access Journals and the change log of when DOAJ status was applied or removed.

-        Publisher: The publisher of the article.

-        Transitional Agreement Name: The name of the relevant Jisc-negotiated Transitional Agreement, based on the member TA title the article was published in and the year of publication.

-        UK Publication: Boolean field identifying whether the article is considered a UK publication, based on whether countries of research organisations of all affiliated authors includes United Kingdom.

-        UK CA Publication: Boolean field identifying whether, for UK publications, the Corresponding Author is affiliated with a research organisation in the United Kingdom.

-        UK Affiliated Organisation (of CA): For UK CA Publications, the name of the first organisation affiliated with the Corresponding Author and is located in the United Kingdom.

-        UK CA Jisc Publication: Boolean field identifying whether, the UK Affiliated Organisation (of CA) is a Jisc member organisation.
