Fourier Transform InfraRed (FTIR) measurements of ozone at the Jungfraujoch Alpine station

Description

The FTIR monitoring program of ULiège at Jungfraujoch has benefited from the constant involvement of C. Servais and O. Flock. It has been primarily funded by the F.R.S.–FNRS (successive grants), the Fédération Wallonie-Bruxelles, and by the GAW-CH program of MeteoSwiss. We acknowledge the International Foundation High Altitude Research Stations Jungfraujoch and Gornergrat (HFSJG, Bern) for supporting the facilities needed to perform the FTIR observations at Jungfraujoch. We also thank NCEP for providing the daily zpt physical models used in the retrievals.

This dataset gathers hdf archives that convey results consitently retrieved in the 1000-1005 cm-1 window, using the SFIT-4 software (v0.9.4.4) and adopting the standard release of HITRAN2008.

The most recent description of this data set is provided in Vigouroux et al. (Atmos. Chem. Phys., 15, 2915–2933, 2015).

A newer dataset labeled IRWG2023 is available from NDACC, under https://www-air.larc.nasa.gov/pub/NDACC/PUBLIC/stations/jungfraujoch/hdf/ftir/
