Supplementary material: "Deciphering Paleocene-Eocene Thermal Maximum Climatic Dynamics: Insights from Oxygen and Hydrogen Isotopes in Clay Minerals of Paleosols from the Southern Pyrenees"

Description

The Excel file contains the d18O, d2H, and clay mineralogy results of the manuscript "Deciphering Paleocene-Eocene Thermal Maximum Climatic Dynamics: Insights from Oxygen and Hydrogen Isotopes in Clay Minerals of Paleosols from the Southern Pyrenees". The first sheet contains the bulk rock mineralogy in wt%. The second sheet contains the clay mineralogy (<2 µm) used for the paleoclimatic interpretation. Sheets 3 and 4 contain a different aliquot of the samples, reporting the isotope compositions (d18O and d2H ‰  relative to VSMOW) and mineralogy (wt%) of two clay-sized fractions: <0.5 µm (Sheet 3) and 0.5-2 µm (Sheet 4). Esplugafreda section coordinates: 42º14’50” N; 0º45’13” E.
