Systematic Review into how health promotion interventions influence university student health

Authors/Creators

  • 1. University of Wollongong

Description

Health within university student populations is very much a subjective concept, being multifactorial in nature; consisting of various interrelated aspects which can be broadly grouped into a number of specific topic areas: health care access, mental health, sexual health, physical activity/nutrition and substance use. Previous studies and reviews have examined the various aspects of the health of university students in isolation but few have attempted to construct a synergistic narrative.
