Description

This dataset encompasses a comprehensive simulation of 1600 years of daily renewable electricity production and demand. It was generated with the use of a large ensemble approach, using 160 sets of 10-year climate model simulations (1600 years) (Muntjewerf et al., 2023) ---each set representing a different possible sequence of weather under present-day climate conditions--- in combination with and energy production and demand modelling framework (van der Most et al., 2022).
