Jizo-bosatsu at Kodaira City
Description
Jizo-bosatsu is a kind of Buddhist image.
This statue is enshrined at Kodaira city, Tokyo.
Commonly, Jizo-bosatsu is believed to prevent some evil matter from children.
Though many of Jizo-bosatsu is a standing statue, however this statue is sitteing statue which rises one knee.
Therefore, it may not be Jizo-bosatu, but it may be other kind of Buddhist image, I think.
