Description

Lithostratigraphy of the middle Eocene in Paris basin (Blondeau, 1965; Gély, 1996). Coordinates for the neostratotype Saint-Vaast-lès-Mello (49.267778°, 2.393056°). Elementary sequences according to Gély (Gély and Leroux, 2019; Merle, 2008), modified for Bartonian parasequences (Briais, 2015). Thickness from Cavelier and Le Calvez (1965), Mégnien and Mégnien (1980) and Merle (2008); decompaction number according to Goldhammer (1997).
