Emotional Retrocausality: Anxiety and Depression as Temporal Feedback Systems
Authors/Creators
Description
This paper expands upon the premise that human emotion is not a flaw in cognition but a living expression of time symmetry—our built-in ability to sense, integrate, and respond to both the past and future. Anxiety and depression are presented as twin forces of temporal feedback: anxiety as sensitivity to the future, depression as resonance with the past. Each serves as a vital aspect of human temporal navigation. Through this lens, mental health emerges not as pathology, but as phase alignment within the cyclical flow of time.
