PEDAGOGICAL OPPORTUNITIES IN PRESCHOOL EDUCATIONAL INSTITUTIONS FOR THE DEVELOPMENT OF EMOTIONAL INTELLIGENCE
Description
Annotation
This thesis examines the pedagogical opportunities available in preschool educational institutions for the development of emotional intelligence in young children. The study focuses on play-based learning, storytelling, creative activities, role-playing, and social-emotional learning modules. Findings reveal that the systematic application of these mechanisms enriches children’s emotional vocabulary, enhances self-regulation and empathy, and improves social adaptation. Furthermore, family engagement and teacher professional development are identified as crucial factors for ensuring sustainable and effective emotional intelligence development in preschool settings.
