A Review: Analysis and Prediction of Road Traffic Accidents from Gujarat
Description
Road traffic accidents are a major public health and economic challenge globally, and Gujarat, India, is no exception. This study examines accident trends from 2012 to 2023, leveraging comprehensive data to uncover patterns, assess contributing factors, and propose actionable solutions. Despite a reduction in accident frequency, fatalities have shown a persistent upward trend, indicating significant gaps in road safety measures. Utilizing statistical tools and predictive modelling, this paper identifies high-risk areas, evaluates the effectiveness of existing interventions, and provides recommendations to mitigate future incidents.
