Asia Inscriptions Online (AIO): digital assets is a community collection for languages with substantial epigraphic traditions: Sanskrit, Prakrit, Tamil, Telegu, Kannada, Persian, Arabic, Tibetan, Pyu, Burmese, Mon, Khmer and related languages. AIO embraces south, central, and south-east Asia with a chronological horizon from the early centuries BCE to the nineteenth century.
This community is curated in tandem with Asia Inscriptions Online (AIO): translations.
Partner communities include Malwa epigraphy, Western Indian epigraphy, Kadamba epigrapy, Sri Lanka epigraphy, Pyu epigraphy and Nepal epigraphy. Allied communities include Topography of India, Old Survey of India Maps, and the Central India Archive.
