Conscience by Design: First Foundational Release v1.0.1

Conscience by Design v1.0.1 presents the first complete and integrated foundation for embedding conscience, moral awareness, and ethical stability into artificial intelligence systems. This release unifies a philosophical charter, an ethical engineering framework, a formal axiomatic model, and a functioning computational prototype into a coherent system for the design and evaluation of ethically aligned intelligent agents.

The publication consists of six core papers:

1. Declaration of Creation: A global moral charter defining the protection of life, dignity, and human autonomy as fundamental invariants for the age of artificial intelligence.

2. Conscience by Design Framework: A structured methodology that translates normative principles into engineering requirements across the full lifecycle of technological development.

3. Conscience Layer Prototype: An operational architecture that implements conscience as a supervisory layer within intelligent systems.

4. Moral Revolution Framework: A three-layer model connecting declarative values, governance structures, and computational mechanisms.

5. Explanation of the Conscience Layer: An analytical exposition of the internal logic, metrics, and decision pathways within the Conscience Layer.

6. The Rodic Principle: A fully formalised mathematical framework defining ethical equilibrium through the vectors TIS, HAI, and SRQ, together with their dynamical and stability properties.

The accompanying software prototype implements the metric triad Truth Integrity Score (TIS), Human Autonomy Index (HAI), and Societal Resonance Quotient (SRQ). It includes exact SHAP explainability for three-dimensional inputs, a local LIME approximation, a dynamic model based on the Rodic Principle, and a SHA-256 based ethical audit chain. The prototype provides a transparent, reproducible, and extensible mechanism for evaluating the moral coherence of system behaviour.

Together, the papers and software establish the conceptual, mathematical, and operational foundations of Conscience Engineering, a proposed discipline dedicated to designing intelligent systems that act with clarity of purpose, respect for human autonomy, and awareness of societal impact.

The work is released under a dual licence: MIT License for the software and CC BY 4.0 for all written materials. Through the accompanying Manifest of Donation, the author donates the entire corpus as an open, shared ethical infrastructure for future generations of intelligent systems.
