The Cosmic Shoreline Revisited: A Metric for Atmospheric Retention Informed by Hydrodynamic Escape
Description
# The Cosmic Shoreline Revisited: A Metric for Atmospheric Retention Informed by Hydrodynamic Escape
1. Main code to run the cosmic_shoreline model:
- `cosmic_shoreline.py`
2. Reproduce Main Text Figures using jupyter notebooks:
- `03-21-25-Model-CS-Figures.ipynb`
3. Reproduce Supplementary Figures using jupyter notebooks:
- `10-19-Model-Component.ipynb`
4. Run monte carlo simulations with the script:
- to generate cosmic shoreline: `script_monte_carlo.py`
- to generate density test: `sample_unc_general.py`
5. All the montecarlo output used in the paper are in the `data-montecarlo` folder.
6. All the input files needed for running cosmic_shoreline used in the paper are in the `data-interpolation` folder.
7. The observational exoplanet data used in the paper are in the `exoplanets_data` folder.
