  • Remarks. Recently, C. ruralis has been recorded from East Azerbaijan province, north-western Iran (Kazerani et al. 2017). The record of this species from southern Iran shows the wider distribution of this species in the Iranian plateau.
  • Remarks. In Iran, E. longifrons was already recorded from Alborz and East Azerbaijan provinces (Kehlmaier & Majnon-Jahromi 2015; Kazerani et al. 2017). The record of this species from southern Iran shows the wide distribution on the Iranian plateau.
  • Remarks. In Iran, E. zermattensis has hitherto been reported from the provinces of Alborz, East Azerbaijan and Kurdistan (Kehlmaier & Majnon-Jahromi 2015; Kazerani et al. 2017), and the new material extends its distribution range to southern Iran. The examined females represent the form with a long piercer (see Kehlmaier 2005).
