Description

The purpose of D8.3 is to describe the prototype IT systems for storing, structuring as well as providing controlled access and annotation/fitering to the data pertinent for the personalised medicine (referred as the ”PM system” in subsequent text). As already defined in D8.1 and D8.2 we use personalised medicine of leukemia as the use case and in D8.3 we added personalized medicine of new-born babies with metabolic disease as second use case.

The report starts with quick recapitulation of the use cases and the challenges identified. It then describes the data access control mechanisms followed by a walk-through of the PM systems: demonstrates the main views and utility of the systems as well as how these match with the stakeholder needs. The report also contains some statistics of the current usage and lays out future work. The report concludes by providing instructions for obtaining an account on the demo installations for 1st hand experience using the systems.
